If you have not activated a selling point password the default standby screen is as follows.
As you type the amount, now your screen changes to read, Litres....
If there is a mistake, press * to delete a last digit.
The ATM starts dispensing the cooking oil.
If you feel that the bottle is smaller than the expected amount, use * to pause the oil.
Heat some clean water (ensure it is hot, but NOT boiling).
Place the oil sucking pipe (inlet) into the hot water and a jug at the nozzle to receive the water.
From the STANDBY screen, press the # (hash) key three times in quick succession. This activates the 'Primming' or 'Harsh' mode.
The machine will start rapidly pumping the hot water through the system, performing the cleaning.
When you are done, press the *** (star)** key to stop the cleaning process.
Ensure the machine is at STANDBY.
Press the # (hash) key.
The ATM asks for your passcode.
Enter your ADMIN passcode and press #. (The screen may show **** as you type.)
The screen will display the menu selection prompt: Choose 1 to 17.
Enter the number (1-12) corresponding to the desired function.
Displays the cumulative total volume or revenue sold since the last sales data reset.
Use with caution! Resets the cumulative total sales data back to zero. You must confirm this action when prompted.
Toggles between the two primary dispensing methods: Flow Sensor or Timer.
Initiates a detailed, step-by-step calibration procedure requiring manual input and verification (e.g., catching a set volume and measuring it). This is used to fine-tune the system's accuracy.
Allows you to set the new Price Per Litre (in Ksh). Enter the new numerical value when prompted and press # to save.
Allows you to set a new ADMIN passcode for accessing this service menu. Ensure you remember your new passcode as Kwanza City Technologies do not have access to it.
Displays the current operating temperature inside the ATM cabinet or of the oil itself.
Initiates an automated calibration cycle. The system measures an expected volume (e.g., "Expect 500 mils") and automatically adjusts its internal count for best accuracy.
Defines the lower temperature limit. If the internal temperature drops below this setting, the ATM may trigger a heater or display a warning.
Defines the upper temperature limit. If the internal temperature exceeds this setting, the ATM may shut down or trigger cooling fans.
Toggles the requirement for a separate Sales PIN to be entered before a standard transaction can begin.
Allows you to set a new Sales PIN. This is a separate code that staff use to initiate a transaction if Option 11 is enabled.
we know the machine is at standby when there is a zero at the far right second row of the screen.
